A very exotic fruit plant from North America. It should not grow in Scandinavia, but Mustila arboretum has some northern strain which has survived winters there. I got three small plants 2016 and they have survived several winters in other words. But not very well, because the leaves come late and the plants grow extremely slowly, only
few centimeters per year. In addition has some unhappy person treaded on one poor plant which hardly survives not even a summer any more.
