Cornus mas (Punamarjakanukka)

terojtaipale

A very early blooming Cornus, which is seldom seen in Finnish gardens. The species belongs to flora of South and Central Europe and has difficult to survive the boreal winter as you may see in the enclosed photo from 2020. In my garden it has not got any damage during the winters, not even when the snow has decorated its yellow small flowers.
