Galium verum (Keltamatara)

G.verum belong to Finland's original flora while G.album is an immigrant, of course with human contribution. I the nature these species interbreed and the hybrids have begun to behave like invasive alien species. It has supplanted the original G.verum so that it is classified as endangered nowadays. Fortunately I have some pure bright yellow verums still growing in my garden.
