Liriodendron tulipifera (Lännentulppaanipuu)

I had to buy this North American exotic tree just because it is said to be ver difficult to get over the winter here. Its first winter in my garden was the record mild 2020 and new green leaves appeared already in April. So the first affliction is over. The species is a living fossil, perhaps from 100 million years back in past. The flowers resemble yellow tulips and this feature has given the name for this beautiful plant. I hope I´my tree will grow big and ll se the flowers some day.
